AI Talent program has officially started – students selected, kick-off in September!

Our AI Talents will receive support of up to 450,000 CZK, participate in professional internships, work on real projects, and join a team that helps develop the Innovation Eco-system in the Pardubice Region. Follow their journey – and maybe you'll join next year too!

HERE THEY ARE – OUR AI TALENTS!

On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, students who succeeded in the selection process for the two-year Talent Program focused on artificial intelligence and data science met at the Pardubice Business Incubator.

Out of 24 applicants, four were selected after two rounds of the selection process – Tobias Hočevar (FIM UHK), Tereza Všetečková (FES UPCE), Josef Bálek (MFF UK), and Robin Polák (FIM UHK). Robin is currently attending a summer school in Taiwan, so he participated in the meeting online. The official launch of the program will take place in September 2025, but we have already taken the first step toward building a community and working on joint projects.

The meeting at P-PINK was attended by the director of our AI Hub, Adam Salfický, who oversees the entire program. Also present was the director of P-PINK, Jiří Janků, who personally wished the AI Talents much success and courage in their further studies and research. The talents also received an AI Starter Pack, containing all the essential information and materials they can use for learning until the program officially begins.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR AI TALENTS?

The official start of the program is scheduled for September, but future AI experts are already getting started. In August, they will dive into the introductory AI Starter Pack, which will equip them with the essentials: an overview of current trends, technologies, and initial tasks.

In September, they will meet again, this time for the official launch, and starting in October, they will work on their own projects, receive individual mentoring, and attend additional courses. November will be dedicated to a hackathon at the University of Pardubice, and in December, you can meet them at the SHOWFERENCE in Pardubice.

WHAT IS THE AI TALENT PROGRAM?

The AI Talent Program P-PINK is here for students who want to grow professionally, personally, and academically during their master's studies. We support those who wish to develop in the fields of artificial intelligence and data science and are eager to participate in projects that help shape the future of the Innovation ecosystem of the Pardubice Region.

WHAT ARE WE EXPECTING FROM YOU

AI is your passion, and you want to keep growing and developing in it as well as in your field.
You are proactive and seek opportunities – you’re not afraid to ask questions, explore, and come up with your own ideas.
You have a communicative level of English, at least B2/C1.
You are responsible – we will trust you and give you the space to show what you’re capable of.
